Re: WTB: Origin 200

Are you still looking for an O200?

I have one (condition unknown) with 180Mhz CPUs and some parts to a second one. No skins.

It's just collecting dust so it's yours for the price of shipping from Phoenix, AZ.

Re: Onyx Problems, seemingly power related

Is this for the Deskside Onyx or the Tower Onyx?

I have spare boards, power modules, etc if you want to go that route.

Let me know. Maybe a trade for some of those 3D printed Indigos.

Re: WTB Indigo1 4k system

I have a number of Indigos and most of them are 4K systems.

I have sleds, drives, tape drive or two. A couple of keyboard + mice setups.

PM me.

Re: Hello to all!

LarBob, I can part with any of them so it's more a matter of what you want to do. The shipping cost of these might exceed the purchase price. There are a couple of Nekochan members on the East Coast that can probably hook you up also. This member used to have a bunch of SGI gear. http://forums.nekoc...

Re: Hello to all!

Hello there, I am in the processing of finding a new house and will be moving in the next two months and have multiple SGIs. Selling one of them off won't hurt the moving guys feelings. What are you looking for: I have two toasters, several Indys, I2s, Octanes, Deskside Challenges, Tower Challenges,...

Yes but you won't like the shipping cost from the USA.

I'm sure Ian Mapleson must have some available.

Re: Overland Data Inc. Track Drive OD3201

Watching a YouTube video on old 9 track drives gave me the name of a software program which I found for download here: https://archive.org/details/OverlandTapeDriveSoft This software will allow me to use my Overland tape drive via the (slow) parallel port without needing an interface card. Can't wai...

Re: What happened to all the old Origin 200s?

I have an O200in an unknown working condition ( I got it in a Craigs List deal) that I'm willing to part with and I'm located in Phoenix, USA. I'm pretty sure the CPUs are 180's but I think I purchased some additional ram and I pulled the power supply out of a second O200.

I'm watching to see what develops from all your work. I would be interested in faster processors in my SGI boxes.

So good luck and keep up the work. Please keep us updated.

Re: Cray CX1

Sign me up for a Cray CX-1 also. I tried to get our engineering work group manager interested when they first came out but it was too pricey. There was a CX-1 (or maybe two) for sale on Ebay several years ago (maybe 2011ish) but I recall the price being very high for a home purchase (> US$20,000). T...

Re: What piontless thing ar you doing right now?

Just spent a couple of hours figuring out why my G5 no longer talked to the outside world ( I could ping internally). Resetting the PRAM took care of the problem and now I'm surfing the web and looking for PPC software I can install. I was able to download Blender 2.63a and get it working, now I jus...

Re: My Visual Workstation 540

Nice, looks like I need to dust of my 540 this weekend and start looking for a couple more CPUs as well.

Maybe I can get your cast-offs since you upgrade to 900Mhz?
