Last call for origin 200 rack, gigachannel, x-box Andataco

I posted this last week and a forum member was going to pick it up this week. I have not heard from him, so I'm posting it again. I have to get rid of my Origin 200 rack quickly. It has 2 O200 chassis both dual processor, and a X-box chassis, 4 Andataco RAID chassis and all Craylink/SCSI cables. I'd...

For Sale Cheap - Origin200 wirh X-Box and rack, Dallas area

I have to get rid of my Origin 200 rack quickly. It has 2 O200 chassis both dual processor, and a X-box chassis, 4 Andataco RAID chassis and all Craylink/SCSI cables. I'd love to keep it but I'm losing my space. It is housed in an APC rack with glass door. It was powered up when I bought it three ye...

You can try talking to him.

I did mirror the site but I need to add some disk space to my ftp server before I can bring it on line. It was around 22gb of files.

A Public Apology

I am here for a brief moment to apologize to KStuff for not getting his Indigo parts to him when he nedeed them. Due to work issues, my wifes impending surgery and some other serious health issues in my immediate family, I dropped the ball big time.

KStuff, I'm sorry.

That was my first impression of that story. The product road map of Sgi is starting to remind me of a zig-zag stitch from a sewing machine. Or all the twists and turns of Mulholland Drive.

Back to the Future?

It looks like Sgi didn't get enough of Windows last time.

My cats sleeping on the rug beside my desk chair. I really don't want her sleeping on my monitor - she weighs 24 pounds. Penelope is a big girl and is around 10 years old. She was a shelter cat. I was shopping for a kitten for my daughter and every time I went past Penelope's cage, she reached throu...

Re: backups

I never backup the Sgi boxes as they are toys anyway. Slightly OT - but I find it a bit sad that for you SGI boxes are only toys. So, on what boxes do you do your really serious work? And, why do you hang around an SGI-dominated forum at all? Oskar, as I had pointed out in the my "toy" po...

Re: backups

Cross-copy over the networks. Most of my SGIs have small(ish) drives anyway, so stuff gets moved around where it's needed. I have a DDS2 drive also, but thats a bit glacial. My 4D has a QIC-150, but again not used for everyday backup. My RS/6k came with an 8mm, haven't tried it yet. I have a couple...

I'm sorry but I disagree. I don't think our economies can run without consumer debt. I really don't know exactly how much debt I carry (my wife knows down to the penny but it's all numbers on paper to me and I really don't care.) but I know it's amost half a million dollars including my mortgage. Mo...
