It runs under Linux on a Mac with Intel processors. Any mac with Intel processors should work, just like any PC. To give an impression of speed. Checked against an 8 processor Origin 2000 in2009, an Apple 2009 Macbook Pro ran 1.4 times faster on a single processor than the 8 combined in the Origin 2...

The O2's are in my network, so they can fire up Softimage 3D extreme and model away. Sascha has modeled some chow figures from his Sonic game, whilst fabian makes scenes with stock models from my library. They are 11 and 12 years old so who knows what they'll finally come up with. Greatings Ben

Picture taken in my living room before this origin 2000 was moved to my studio. It is now converted to a 16 processor machine and is used for 3D rendering.
