I have the 3200 booted up but now I am struggling with miniroot to get to repair the system. I have tried to boot off of a OpenBSD disk, 2 different Install Overlay disks and no luck. I get to the system menu and try to boot the installer or recovery programs. Each complain about the miniroot missin...

Re: Origin 3200 Not Booting

I pulled all the cards except for the local FC and ethernet card. and giving it another try.

I still have voltage errors though so I am not out of the power supply problem woods.

Origin 3200 Not Booting

I have gotten past some struggles and still not getting the Origin to boot up. I think that the wrong devices are set in the PROM to boot off of. I can get to the Command Monitor from the L1 and do ls commands on both of the hard drives and cd. I have a couple of CD burned that I have verified with ...

Origin 3200 Video Options

I have been looking for a V-Brick and they seem to be very rare. All of the docs I have read only talk about the G-Brick and the V-Brick. The documentation talks about other PCI cards but not a video card.

Is there a video card that can be used in the IX-Brick?

Re: Origin 3200 Power Supply

What about the individual power supply units? They each have a normal PC power plug and they are labeled such that they should accept either 110/120 or 220/240.

Origin 3200 Power Supply

I have an Origin 3200 and I think that the power supplies are bad, but I am not sure.
If I plug them in the fans quiver and there is a yellow light that blinks.

They say that 120 will power them on the sticker but do I need 220?
