Re: info about PowerMacs
Well yes, there are certain people who will constantly tell you how a certain model line/generation of Power Macs are all terrible, but as an owner of multiple Power Macs and a member of that forum I've gotten plenty of help as well.

Value Village is a magical mythical place to a Northeasterner like me...a strange world where you can buy mid 90s computers for 5 dollars, as opposed to literally no thrift store here selling computers.

Oh yeah? I had no idea you could mod old TVs like that. Then I wouldn't need a modulator.

I got this really adorable little Zenith color TV, it works but I don't seem to have an RF modulator any more to use it...

I decided to start watching one of the all time classics: Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Should be an interesting time.

I got a nice little Pioneer dual cassette player from the thrift store...it's a CT-W770. Sadly not one of the neat -DR models like the CT-W616DR but still not a bad dual cassette machine for 8 dollars.

Ah, they were smart and didn't use the leaky SMD cans! It's those that cause all the problems.

Yeah, that's why I'm just going to get a SCSI controller for it...it's a lot easier to use something like a SCSI2SD with a controller card than trying to find a working ESDI drive.

Re: your latest purchase
I've got two main obstacles with mine...one much bigger than the other.
For starters, I've got no hard disk. That's kind of a major issue.
Less importantly, the VGA connector on the PS/2 has a pin blanked off and I don't have any VGA monitors with that pin missing from their connector...
