Re: Help needed with a FORE Systems VMA-200

So after inspecting the 6.2 drivers there does indeed seem to be 2 versions of this card - this release of the drivers contains both vma200.bin and vma200e.bin files. Unfortunately attempts to install the 6.2 drivers under 6.5.22 have failed, so I am face with either switching back to IRIX 6.2 (whic...

Re: Help needed with a FORE Systems VMA-200

I did check the jumper settings and they seem to be set to the default positions in the user manual - this is what alerted me to the fact that my card might be different as the dip switches are in different positions than indicated in the manual. The VMA-200E has SW1 in one corner of the board and S...

Re: Help needed with a FORE Systems VMA-200

So talking to some others it is possible that this is an earlier revision of the card and therefore may need earlier drivers. Would anyone happen to have them? I am not having much luck finding them on the internet.

Cheers,

Jeb

Help needed with a FORE Systems VMA-200

Hi all, I am trying to get a FORE Systems VMA-200 working in my Onyx. I am using the drivers from irix659_vma_5.1.1.4_72941a. On boot I get the following error: WARNING: ecd_vma200e_edtinit: Device adapter ./fore_c000/fatm is unknown model FORE, VMA-200 WARNING: ecd_vma200e_edtinit: edtinint failed ...

Re: FORE Systems Forerunner ES-3810 NMM firmware needed

I am glad you resolved your issues! We use the ASX-200BX models exclusively in our microwave DS3 system.... Nice! That is very cool. I know what you mean about spare parts, I still need to get a 100Mbps module for mine so I am scouring ebay regularly. If you ever fancy wasting ~5 hours of your life...

Re: FORE Systems Forerunner ES-3810 NMM firmware needed

I hate breaking things. So I bought another one off these on ebay. I then extracted the flash rom using the inbuilt Mon960 monitor which took over 5 hours in total as it has to be dumped by serial as plain ASCII, and I had to make 2 copies as characters would go missing - so I needed a second dump t...

Wanted: Dual R14K Node boards for O2K/Onyx2 or Dual-R12K/400MHz

Hi All,

I am after two Dual R14K Node boards for an Origin 2000 or Onxy2 - does anyone have any for sale? Alternatively i might consider Dual-R12K 400MHz.

Preferably in the UK or EU.

Thanks in advance,

Jeb

FORE Systems Forerunner ES-3810 NMM firmware needed

Hi,

Does anyone happen to have a firmware file for a Fore Systems Forerunner ES-3810 NMM? I recently acquired one but had an unfortunate accident and erased the flash rom ;o(

Re: 030-1277-002 MXI TRAM modules on an MXE board?

The 030-1277-002 Rev A TRAM with the 37MHz crystal still doesn't wort ;o( The rub here is that I don't know if the module ever worked as I didn't have an SI card to test it with in the first place. I am suspecting it didn't, if an SI card comes up cheap I will test this theory one day. Sorry for th...

Re: Tezro for sale in the Netherlands (Not mine)

Yeah, maybe we'll see. The guy I talked to was very pleasant and was honest enough to tell me how much the other one went for, so I left it at that. I expect they will get a better price for it, they have already done the community a favour by letting one go for a reasonable price so good luck to th...

Re: Tezro for sale in the Netherlands (Not mine)

Well as predicted they turned down my offer. I offered as much as I was prepared too and that would have been more than I have paid for any other machine in my collection. I could buy lots of other things that I want for my existing collection for the money so I am not too dissapointed. It would hav...

Re: convert onyx 10000 to 220v outlet

Hi Mr Bill,

Attached the circuit diagram on the inside of the back door of my Onyx rack. Do you have a similar one for your 3-phase setup to help compare?
