Re: Help with Tezro

Hello Guys, Thank you all for great support. Indeed it was the keyboard. My IBM has a very thick connector and it seams that did not make contact. I’ve changed it and it works. Does not have the OS but that is OK. I’ve run a hinv and I’ve got 4x800 with 5G of RAM. More detailed hinv will come. Thank...

This is normal if you do not connect keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for advice. I will try tonight with other ones. Now I have connected an IBM keyboard and an HP mouse that worked with my O2.

Yes. The shipping and customs were 1/2 from the total cost.

Help with Tezro

Hello there, Help!!!!!!!!!! I've got a Tezro from ebay and is not working. The shipping was decent, only a small crack in one plastic parts. I don't know if it worked prior shipping or not, but now it gives 0011c01 error during BOOT, then Gfx. conf. error and the red LED stays on. I've seen on an ol...

O2 upgrade

Hello there,
Sorry for my stupid question but there it is: I have an O2 R5000 and I think to upgrade it to R10000. I know that the heat sink is taller and I wonder if I need a new PCI riser to accommodate the hew height? Also is there a limitation from power supply?
Thanks.

Connect Indigo2 to internet

Hello there, There are several weeks now since I've got my first Fuel and, due to missing OS, it is still dead. Thanks though for the tip with OpenBSD, but at this point my Unix-like command line knowledge is very limited. Same for tip with the work that is done in LINUX. But the good news is that I...

Open Source OS on Fuel

Hello all, I was visiting this forum for a while and I got contaminated with your enthusiasm for these old SGI boxes. Back in the days (1995-1999) I used to CAD design on a Indigo2 machine and I guess I had left a little nostalgia ... Now I got myself a Fuel without OS and I have 2 question: 1. Is t...
