Re: Announcement - Fuel ATX PSU adapters available for purchase

I strongly believe that any 500W PSU from a reputable manufacturer will work fine.
Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, Thermaltake, EVGA are some examples of such makers.

Re: Announcement - Fuel ATX PSU adapters available for purchase

I can't say cause I got it without any sort of manuals etc..
Just a box with the unit.
This link points to where I got it from: https://www.ekos.gr/product/ss_500et_bulk92
At least all the specs are there (in Greek though :P)

Re: Announcement - Fuel ATX PSU adapters available for purchase

The exact model is: Seasonic SS-500ET But any similar modern PSU around 500Watts (combined) should work juust fine.. And my Fuel is loaded (V12, 800MHz, 2x DVD Drives, 2x HDDs). Just pick a "good" brand and no need to worry about the 3.3V or 5V max load of the original Fuel's WTX PSU. I kn...

Octane --> Handmade Adapter --> VGA to HDMI Box --> Digital-Only Display

I believe this was the order..

A (quite extensive) guide on VFC & custom resolutions

Title is pretty self-explanatory.

Attached a .pdf with my guide to building custom resolutions using VFC.
It Is quite detailed. (maybe more than it should)

Hope you find it useful! ;-)

Custom Resolution on Indy

So, just learned the basics around VFC and managed to create 1680x1050 .vfo files for a V12 Fuel, a V8 Octane, and a V10 Octane2. So far, so good (reduced blanking, etc). Now, I would like to find out whether it is possible to compile a custom resolution for the Indy 24 XL. The resolution format fil...

Re: Any experiences VGA/13W3 to HDMI/DVI converter?

This is made by me.

You can definitely bump the resolution as high as you wish, supposing your monitor supports it.
Also, you will need the proper, relevant resolution profiles for your Graphics Board.

Re: WTB: Fuel 600 mhz cpu and/or V12 Graphics

You mean a Fuel System with such specs or just a 600MHz Processor and a V12 (parts)?

Re: Indigo 2 video output to vga monitor?

Worry not! It will show video 100%. There might be a slight chance that it has a greenish tint.
In case you do not like that (and I do not blame you at all) just try another modern widescreen monitor.. Very high chance it will work out of the box perfectly fine.
Trust me.

Cheers!

Re: Indigo 2 video output to vga monitor?

These cables of mine work 100% with Indy or later! Now, I mention that in some rare cases, there might be a greenish tint on the display. Then you should try another monitor and you have very good chances it is going to be fine. Works with all my widescreen monitors, KVMs and a TV. Indeed it will *n...
