Re: your latest purchase

Most does. It's a little underwhelming for spoken word but definitely better than the built in monitor speakers.

Re: Things to buy....

An IBM z Mainframe. I would have little practical use for it but the design is sexy and I would probably have people wanting to rent time on it.

Re: your latest purchase

I finally got the stuff to make my Roland CS-10 working. After a few minutes to get the tone adjusted, the volume set and the inputs cleaned for best clarity, I'm happy with my purchase. These micro-monitors have great sound for 20+ years old. I listened to everything from Tool to Toto, to Queen on ...

Re: Would you like some Java with that JavaStation?

Second was A3000 I damaged by inserting a parallel device into the SCSI port accidentally. I sent it to a member of the community for repair. He s...

Re: your latest purchase

They were very expensive. Total I spent about $900 on the collection. This doesn't include the actual purchase prices, more what my net costs were. And I have more stuff to sell (an A1000 keyboard I don't need - Amiga keyboards suck compared to a buckling spring, another GVP card, some kickstart rom...

Re: your latest purchase

An Amiga 4000 and a C128D (no keyboard. I'll be hacking a regular C128 I bought for parts into a keyboard shell)
