Re: HP Vectra 486N

Geoworks had a number of Vectra Ns. I hated them, and greatly enjoyed throwing them all away in 1998. OTOH I have fond memories of a Packard Bell 386sx, which was the first computer I owned outright. So... feel free to discount my opinion. (@; My first machine was a Packard Bell with a Pentium MMX ...

Re: SGI Super Disk Question

Are you talking about the " floptical " drive that sometimes is found in Indys and Challenge S machines? If so, it can handle 3.5" 21 MB floptical disks and standard Mac/PC formatted single-sided and double-sided 3.5" diskettes. The OEM was Insite. No not this one, the one I'm t...

Re: O2 R5000 180MHz, 256MB RAM, 36GB HDD

Nice :)

I've got a couple as well, and have a nice 270mhz R12000 CPU which I can't use because I need a different board, but The R5000's that I have work really well, great stuff these O2s.

Would I need the O2 motherboard native to the R12000 CPU or has anyone done or know how to get that going?

O2 270mhz CPU with 2MB L2 cache?

There's a benchmark for said CPU on this link... is that a typo? I thought the 270mhz CPU only had 1MB L2 cache

O2 Ram

I've recently got an O2 from a local neko member.

I've got 64MB of ram in this little guy and would like to buy some more.

PM me if you've got some, with a price and MB count.

Thank you.

For the SilenX fans, do you need to swap the red and yellow wires just like for the Scythe fan?
