No, gmake by itself is happy to use any compiler. Many people now hard-code gcc into the Makefile but that's not necessary. These days you almost always have to use gmake ... check the rest of your ./configure setup as well, nekoware has fairly current versions of all the required programs. oh! i see, so ok then 'gmake' will it be then.. ok will check more about the generated 'configure' file and see what else i...
