Re: wacom tablet drivers

I had issues with the Wacom driver on a UD tablet, installed the Discreet driver and it was working like a charm. Re: Games: Ported Xmame 0.65.1 and Stella 1.3 for IRIX

There are some other places to look for ROMs there are even sites that will burn you DVD's... That being said, there are many ways to get the old sets of ROMs... As for the NeoGeo games, might as well use a halfway decent PC or old G4 Mac with good amounts of RAM, they will play just fine.. Thanks f...

Re: Best current options for SGI video editing?

All really depends on what you are trying to do, formats, etc...

Premiere 4.2 which can be found on eBay from time to time does a decent job when stable, from there the prices go up dramatically. You can always try Jahshaka which is free....

You can also go in and optimize the DB, does not hurt to do it, I do it every now and then on my site where I have over 10,000 images in Gallery2..

Re: Old Alias and Wavefront apps screenshots...

Not bad for $80, I do have a room that gets cold and can use some extra heating ;) but your right, that power consumption will kill you on the monthly bill! Glad that I am in the valley and not heading to SF anytime soon, the wife would kill me if I brought that beast home.. Now a Onyx for $80, woul...

Re: How to Wireless Internet?

Basically all you need to do is get it to extended your existing network?? Should be a feature in the setup to allow it to extended the range of the existing wireless network. I do not recommend mixing vendors to do so, stick with one and use it throughout the entire setup, will lead to less headach...

Re: interesting announcement - autodesk to buy SoftImage..

You have to have 80%-85% or more of the market before the Feds get their interest perked in any anti-competitive deal, or monopoly. Based on the list of the companies that I posted, they might be all the Autodesk powerhouse, but still have some good independent packages out there that are quite stro...
