Re: [Sydney/AU] HP blade servers with 48Gb to 144Gb RAM per blade, EMC & Clarion SAN

Seriously, it has to go to a scrap metal dealer or someting soon. Don't know much about this hardware, but even if you have no takers for the system as a whole, the huge amounts of RAM would surely be worth putting on eBay? Especially if the modules are compatible with other servers, as HP RAM ofte...

Re: [Sydney/AU] HP blade servers with 48Gb to 144Gb RAM per blade, EMC & Clarion SAN

Plus some Citrix stuff plus a whole lot of switches, fibre, routers, stuff... some 1 RU Intel servers random stuff. Seriously,...

EMC VNX-5300

I am selling an EMC SAN without disks, if it doesn't sell there is a good chance it goes to scrap metal dealers. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/232175001630?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Also considering selling the HP C7000 with about 48Gb to 52Gb RAM per blade, C3000 with 96G...

(La)TeX with CJK UTF8 Chapter and section problems.

This is driving me nuts.. I am trying to use the CJKutf8 package to TeX up a document in Japanese. I want to do this: \chapter{\begin{CJK}{UTF8}{min} イントロダクション \end{CJK} } But I am getting this: ! Use of \@chapter doesn't match its definition. <argument> \def \reserved@a { \def \@currenvir {CJK}\ede...

Social network fraud.

Social media appears mostly fraudulent to me... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVfHeWTKjag I put out there on twitter that I liked apportable and it was very useful for me to port objective-c code to Android ( http://t.co/BWCfEl2RLp ). Now I am getting notifications that apportable's ( condensed ) ...

Re: IRIX simulation software

I know there are / were flight sims running on IRIX, commercial and military. Also, I'd imagine there should be driving / racing simulation software. However, Google doesn't have much to show for my limited searches on these topics. Anyone know more of such things? Nekoware. ⋅ Flight gear...

Re: Questions, debating purchasing Altix 350

Ive gotten a few sgi machines in the past months and have been debating on getting an altix 350, they look like really interesting machines, and the price seems to be low enough that I can build up a respectable system in a few months, however I dont know anything about them, so im hoping someone h...

Re: So, file shares then

So, I want a way to allow my little O2 to easily access file shares from my Windows 7 machine. In years gone by, I had an academic license for Sharity 2 and this worked well on my old Indy and on my O2. However since then, my license for Sharity has long since gone AWOL. What I've tried so far: Uni...
