Thanks for the offer. Let me check out the state of my boards over the weekend and get back to you.

Re: WTB O2 midplanes, 02+ skins, rm7000 CPU, FPA

Ok, probably not worth shipping the whole chassis or drilling out the rivets. I'm in the UK.

The issue with mine is broken ends on the SCA connectors. Maybe I can 3D print a fix.

By midplane I mean the PCB with SCA connectors -- is it riveted in? That complicates things.

Whereabouts are you based?

WTB O2 midplanes, 02+ skins, rm7000 CPU, FPA

Hi,

I'm after the following bits and bobs for O2s, or full machines, depending on what's available and prices:

- O2 FPA
- 02+ skin
- O2 midplanes (2 required)
- Rm7000 600MHz CPU -- how much should I expect to pay for one of these nowadays?
- Presenter 1280? (I already have the adapter for this)

Audigy 2 ZS - o2 compatible?

Short version: Will an Audigy 2 ZS PCI sound card work in and O2? Long version: Was down at my local council 'recycling' dump today to help throw away some garden waste. While there, spotted a pristine-looking Audigy 2 ZS in the electronics container.. Waded in to pick it up, only to have someone co...

Re: 1600SW Graphics Cards

The Pix-Link was a DVI->OpenLDI adapter specifically built for the 1600sw. I broke mine by feeding it a broken DVI signal; now it outputs only red, with black being red and lighter colours showing as lighter shades of red.. The fix didn't work btw - it still exhibits the same problem. Oh, do I feel ...

Re: 1600SW Graphics Cards

There's no chance that OpenLDI would work with my code as is. The programming documentation describes a number of registers for "flat panel" display. Now, this is a bit ambiguous, as Permedia 3/4 cards support DFP and DVI, which both use TMDS signalling. Then, there's OpenLDI, which uses ...

Re: 1600sw VS. modern display questions

My £.02: The 1600sw is the best display I've used. It's one of a literal handful of TFTs which has a sane dot-pitch; I used to run 2048x1536 on a 21" CRT before I got a 1600sw because there simply aren't many LCDs which offer equivalent DPI. Despite its idiosyncrasies and other failings, this i...
