Re: I've Had It With Firefox - Alternatives I'm Exploring

Not kissing commie ass makes you a conspiracy theorist, or worse, a nazi.

FS: Sun Ultra45 (Price reduced)

For sale here is a Sun Ultra 45 located in the Western reaches of North America, in particular Northern Nevada. It has a single 1.6GHZ processor, 2 GB of RAM, XVR 2500 graphics and a 1TB HDD w/ Sun Type6 Keyboard included. She has one issue, the XVR2500 came to me in what appeared to be a state of p...

Re: A smear campaign against nekochan.net mods on reddit

That is a pathetically small subreddit. This will net him nothing, especially with the nonsensical gibberish he spouts. He might get better results writing his word salad in Italian and parsing it with google translate.

The only nice thing I can say is: at least she doesn't do porn.

Otherwise this is some rather cringey nu-male shit.

Re: If you must use Windows 10 and default apps is driving you crazy...

When I try to even change defaults in Settings, I'll click an alternative and it won't change. Have to use control panel on my end for it to even do anything at all. If you use powershell to remove their default apps, miraculously it starts working. :P Windows 10 is an operating system trying to be...

What we are facing here in this community is the death of a subculture. It appears that all of us are dealing with it in our own unique ways. I turned in my badge when the crazies stopped taking their meds, next step is to get on that train and never look back.

Re: Have any one seen any good anime lately?

I'd encourage you to stick with it. It starts slow, but the reveal of what's really going on and the gonzo lengths it goes to while remaining remarkably self-consistent (and the depth of background material it weaves in) are fascinating when you get towards the end and look back at everything that'...

Re: Have any one seen any good anime lately?

After watching the first two episodes of Serial Experiments Lain... it is like I am missing the joke. Lain is definitely worth a go. It's like David Lynch directed a cyberpunk anime. In that it starts with a dead girl like Twin Peaks? :P Here I was hoping for something more Rabbits and a little less...

Re: Interesting read: Web Assembly

We will be continuously be paying rent to use anything proprietary. After the frontier is settled, the usurious rent seekers always arrive to "invest" in the hot property. Color me cynical but the laziness of humanity cannot be underestimated. Even in my children's classes most do not hav...

Re: Have any one seen any good anime lately?

Cyber City Oedo 808 An unfortunately short lived series. Lots of foul language and violence. Perfect. One-Punch Man A fresh take on cape shit stuff, hilarious. It is now on Netflix, so you have no excuses. Sword Art Online An interesting technical premise that quickly abandons any sort of logic and ...
